Consultants for the master plan, which outlines the university’s future physical development and land use, including infrastructure, buildings and transportation, will meet with the Advisory Council for Administrative Policy, the Faculty Senate and the Administrative Council from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday, May 11, and from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. Friday, May 12. They will meet with the Corbett Center Task Force, the Associated Students of NMSU and other interested students from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 11, followed by an open meeting for the general public from 7 to 8:30 p.m. These sessions will be held in the TV lounge area across from the information desk on the second floor of Corbett Center.
On Friday, May 12, at 1:30 p.m., the consultants will present their findings thus far to the NMSU Board of Regents. This meeting will be held in the Regents Room of the Educational Services Center.
In addition to these meetings, the consultants also will visit with NMSU President Michael V. Martin, Vice President for University Advancement Rebecca Dukes, the Native American Cultural Center Steering Committee and ASCG Architects.
Master plan workshops will continue in June. More details will be forthcoming
